The name Ecoviator is inspired by the Latin viator – the traveller, the pathfinder.

It reflects our role as companions on a shared journey toward sustainable, future-fit product-service systems.

We help organisations move forward with purpose – navigating change, designing better outcomes, meeting compliance requirements, and making sustainability progress part of everyday business.

The Founder Behind Ecoviator

With a background spanning business strategy, sustainable innovation, product and service design, and digital technology, Wolfgang Steiner brings over two decades of experience to Ecoviator. His work has helped organisations navigate complexity and create meaningful transformation – across industries, borders, and disciplines.

But over time, one realisation grew stronger: sustainability can no longer be a silo. And digital enablement is key to unlocking the systemic shift we need.

Ecoviator is the result of that conviction – founded to turn experience into impact and help businesses lead the twin transformation of sustainability and digital innovation.


Ecoviator’s Home Base

Our office is located at Impact Hub Munich – in the heart of the city’s old food wholesale market. It’s a place full of creative energy, grounded in real-world purpose – and the perfect base for Ecoviator’s down-to-earth and impact-driven work.

For founder Wolfgang Steiner, it’s also a return to very familiar ground:
having worked from this district already for nearly a decade, it’s where big thinking meets real action.
